FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CDF and J. Natzan Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH & Co. KG unite to bring sustainable IBC liner manufacturing to European customers
PLYMOUTH, Massachusetts – March 2026 – CDF Corporation today announced the launch of a new Form-Fit IBC liner manufacturing line at J. Natzan Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH & Co. KG’s state-of-the-art facility in Lengerich, Germany. This strategic investment marks a defining step in CDF’s European growth strategy — bringing world-class bulk packaging manufacturing closer to our European customers.
Natzan, a respected family-operated company with deep expertise in precision plastic packaging and custom heat-sealing solutions, will serve as CDF’s on-the-ground manufacturing partner for this venture. United by a shared commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and sustainability, the two companies are uniquely positioned to deliver tailor-made flexible packaging solutions that meet the rigorous demands of today’s global supply chains.
This launch builds on CDF’s proven European presence, including the 2013 integration of Quadpak AB into the CDF alliance. The Lengerich facility adds critical regional manufacturing capacity — reducing transatlantic lead times, strengthening supply chain resilience, and positioning CDF to respond faster to the evolving needs of European customers. The operation will produce multi-ply Form-Fit IBC liners in sizes from 220 to 1,500 liters, serving manufacturers of liquid to highly viscous products across food and beverage, chemical, cosmetic, and industrial sectors.
With this new production line, CDF delivers three core advantages to European customers:
- Proven sustainable solutions — Packaging engineered to support circular-economy goals and measurably reduce environmental impact across the supply chain
- Faster lead times — Dedicated regional capacity that eliminates lengthy international logistics and sharpens supply chain responsiveness
- Stronger local support — On-the-ground technical expertise and direct access to CDF’s full portfolio of sustainable packaging technologies
“For over half a century, CDF has provided innovative products that help businesses save money while minimizing their environmental footprint,” said Joseph Sullivan. “Our Mindful Packaging® philosophy — rooted in reduce, reuse, and recycle — isn’t just a tagline; it’s the lens through which we make every product and investment decision. The Lengerich facility is purpose-built to make it easier for European companies to lead the packaging industry’s sustainability transformation, backed by a supply partner with the expertise and infrastructure to deliver.”
As brand owners and manufacturers face mounting pressure to meet sustainability targets, and align with evolving EU packaging regulations, demand for high-performance, lower-impact bulk solutions has never been greater. CDF’s IBC liner portfolio — including Form-Fit Liners, Air-Assist® Liners, and the Squiz® Station system — addresses the full viscosity spectrum and is engineered to help companies maximize product recovery, reduce waste, and meet sustainability goals without sacrificing efficiency or product integrity.
“We look forward to expanding our European portfolio — including the Quadpak AB Cheertainer® bag-in-box and our full range of IBC liner solutions — while upholding our unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship and reliable regional supply,” Sullivan added. “This is the right investment, in the right place, at the right time.”
