Squiz System

Squiz® System
for IBC Liners
Engineered for Extreme Viscosity. Built to Leave Almost Nothing Behind.

Squiz Tool Station Front view

Squiz System – with dedicated Squiz liners deliver the ultimate product recovery for highly viscous applications.

The Squiz System is an automated liner evacuation system for extreme-viscosity products. Working in sync with your pneumatic pump, it winds the liner from the top down during discharge, steadily moving product toward the dispense valve. On average, just 0.1 to 0.2 percent of product remains.

This patented technology ensures a proven and unique approach to product recovery.

Why manufacturers choose the Squiz System

Viscous products like yogurts, cosmetic creams, nut butters, and dense sauces challenge even the most advanced discharge methods. Product that clings to the liner rather than discharging cleanly stays behind in every container, and across a year of production, that residual product becomes a meaningful and often unmeasured cost. The Squiz System was engineered to recover it.

  • Recover more of every batch: on average, just 0.1 to 0.2 percent of product remains after dispense
  • Free your operators from the end of the container: dispense runs hands-free, replacing the tilting, manipulating, and manual recovery that thick products usually require
  • Consistent results from one container to the next, because recovery is engineered into the process rather than left to manual effort
  • Less manual handling means less risk, to your operators and to your product
Estimate Your Product Loss

Which system fits your product?

The right approach depends on how your product behaves during dispensing. Air-Assist® is engineered for viscous products, using controlled air behind the liner to keep product moving toward the dispense valve. The Squiz System picks up where air pressure reaches its limit: the creams, gels, pastes, and concentrates so thick that product has to be moved mechanically. Not sure where your product falls? Our engineers will tell you in the technical review, including when the answer is Air-Assist.

Designed for High-Viscosity Applications

Food & Beverage

Pastes, yogurts, nut butters, dense sauces, and other products too thick to pump out completely. Recover batch yield and reduce material costs.

Cosmetics & Personal Care

Thick creams, balms, and pastes, where product value per pound makes every liner worth emptying. Small losses add up to real margin.

Pharmaceutical

Surgical and ultrasound gels, topical ointments, emulsions, dental and oral pastes, and medicated creams, where hygiene expectations rule out manual recovery.

Industrial

Greases, silicone sealants, heavy epoxies, adhesives, inks, and other high-viscosity industrial liquids.

How It Works

  • The dedicated Squiz liner, reinforced to carry the load of winding, locks into the system.
  • Your pneumatic pump dispenses product through the standard bottom outlet.
  • As the pump draws, the system winds the liner from the top down, in sync with the pump, pressing product toward the dispense valve.
  • The cycle runs hands-free, with automatic pressure cutoffs and an emergency stop engineered in.
  • The spent liner comes out with, on average, just 0.1 to 0.2 percent of product remaining.
  • No IBC washing, and the container returns to service without a wash cycle.

Planning for the Squiz System

  • A pneumatic diaphragm, piston, or peristaltic pump. The system synchronizes with pneumatic pumps only.
  • A dedicated compressed air line. Installation details come with the technical review.
  • The dedicated Squiz liner, reinforced to carry the load of winding. The system and liner are engineered and validated together.
  • Compatible containers: plastic foldable IBCs with bottom lateral dispensing. Bring your container spec to the technical review and we will confirm fit.
  • Our team confirms compatibility early, so no one invests time in an application that is not a fit.

No fixed installation and no electrical connection: the system is a stainless frame on locking casters and moves between lines.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use any liner with the Squiz System?

No. The system runs a dedicated Squiz liner, a reinforced form-fit liner engineered to carry the mechanical load of winding. The two are validated together; that pairing is where the recovery performance comes from. Our engineers spec the right liner for your product during the technical review.

What containers does it work with?

Plastic foldable IBCs with bottom lateral discharge. Bring your container spec to the technical review and we will confirm fit.

Does it need an operator?

For setup, yes. During dispense, no. The cycle runs hands-free with automatic pressure cutoffs and an emergency stop.

What does it need from my plant?

A pneumatic pump (diaphragm, piston, or peristaltic) and a dedicated compressed air line. No fixed installation and no electrical connection: the system is a stainless frame on locking casters and moves between lines.

Is my product a fit?

If it adheres to the liner rather than dispensing cleanly, probably yes. The 2-minute diagnostic or a technical review answers it for your specific product.

What viscosity range is right for the Squiz System vs. Air-Assist®?

Air-Assist is engineered for viscous products, using controlled air behind the liner. The Squiz System picks up where air pressure reaches its limit: creams, gels, pastes, and concentrates so thick that product has to be moved mechanically. Our engineers will tell you where your product falls, including when the answer is Air-Assist.

What is your operation leaving behind?

Request an application review and find out. Our team evaluates your viscosity range, fill method, IBC setup, and yield targets before recommending anything.
