Process Technician
Department: Drum and Pail – Manufacturing
Reports To: Director of Engineering
CDF Corporation is seeking a Process Technician to help drive safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, improving processes, solving problems, and helping others succeed on the production floor.
As a Process Technician, you will play a key role in supporting machine performance, product quality, operator development, and continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform machine startups, changeovers, and process adjustments
- Troubleshoot equipment, process, and quality issues
- Reduce downtime and scrap through problem-solving and process improvements
- Support product quality, safety, ISO, SQF, and GMP requirements
- Assist with training and cross-training Machine Operators and Production Associates
- Help develop and improve standard work, setup procedures, and best practices
- Partner with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve operational performance
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to understand machine controls and process settings
- Experience with continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing concepts
- Plastic packaging, thermoforming, blow molding, extrusion, heat seal, or flexible packaging experience is a plus
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
