Variegates Packaging

Looking for new solutions to bulk package variegates? One option is IBC liners. As convenient as they are durable, IBC liners present an ideal solution for packaging tough-to-handle contents, like variegates. In this post, we’ll discuss some of the IBC liner options that CDF manufacturers and how they can help present more than just an ideal packaging solution – but a sustainable and cost-effective solution as well.

IBC Liners for Variegates Packaging

Preserving purity. Delivering durability.

Those are two key benefits of CDF’s IBC liners, notably in enhancing shelf life for variegates, which can be difficult to package. Our liners offer superior barrier properties that protect variegates from oxygen and moisture, critical factors in preserving these products. This barrier extends the shelf life of variegates, reducing waste and enhancing economic efficiency for manufacturers. The seal of our liners ensures that variegates are protected from external contaminants and spoilage, preserving their quality from the production line to the consumer.

Utilizing CDF’s IBC liners can lead to significant cost savings in the production and handling of variegates. Our liners reduce the need for extensive cleaning and maintenance of IBC containers as they can be easily replaced and recycled, thereby minimizing downtime and labor costs associated with the cleaning process. Additionally, the durability and strength of our liners reduce the risk of leaks and spills during transport and storage, further preventing product loss.

Designed with the end-user in mind, our IBC liners are easy to install, fill, and dispense from. This user-friendly design helps streamline operations, making it easier and faster to handle products, thereby boosting productivity. Our liners are compatible with a variety of filling and dispensing systems, making them a versatile solution suitable for a wide range of variegate applications.

We outfit our liners with innovative packaging solutions like fitments and closures designed to make product evacuation easier and more convenient. At CDF, our most popular IBC liners include:

Form-Fit:  Form-Fit liners mold to the shape of the IBC, just like the name implies. Ideal for top filling and bottom dispensing, FormFit liners offer better overall product evacuation and low defect rates.

Air-Assist: Air-Assist liners are similar to FormFit liners, except they also include an air bladder designed to improve product dispensing and product evacuation. As the air bladder inflates, it pushes up against the liner, aiding in product evacuation. It’s an ideal liner for hands-free dispensing.

Pillow-shaped Liners: These liners may be simple, but they’re still mighty. Created using two or three plies of low-density polyethylene and a barrier film, pillow liners are ideal for top filling and bottom filling.

All liners can be equipped with CDF’s CDF1 Smart Seal technology for maximum reliability. We understand that every application might have unique requirements, and that’s why we offer customized solutions for our IBC liners. Whether you need specific barrier properties, different sizes, or unique fitments and features, our engineering team can design a liner that meets your specific needs, enhancing the performance and reliability of your variegate handling processes.

Optimal Product Integrity

CDF Corporation’s IBC liners are meticulously designed to maintain the highest quality and integrity of variegates, essential for the food and beverage industry. Manufactured in an SQF Level II facility, our liners are constructed from high-grade, FDA-approved materials that prevent any adverse interactions with food products. This ensures that variegates such as fruit purees, syrups, and flavoring pastes retain their original taste, color, and texture, preventing any contamination or degradation.

Whether you need specific barrier properties, different sizes, or unique fitments and features, our engineering team can design a liner that meets your specific needs, enhancing the performance and reliability of your variegate handling processes.

40% = 34.7 million tons

According to a Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) study, nearly 40% – or 34.7 million tons – of all produced foods are sent to landfill each year.

Cost Effectiveness

CDF’s liners are designed to help improve the manufacturing process and speed efficiency on the shop floor, both of which can deliver savings to any company’s bottom line. Whether you top-fill or bottom-fill, CDF’s liners are designed to maximize efficiency. In a competitive environment where time equals money, every minute can mean cost savings and enhanced productivity.

Environmental Impact

CDF’s range of IBC liners has several sustainability benefits to note. Perhaps the most notable benefit is how some liners, like Air-Assist, yield up to 99.5 percent product evacuation compared to conventional IBC liners. This ensures that more product is dispensed and less is gone to waste.

CDF’s liners are also made using less material compared to conventional packaging solutions, meaning fewer materials are required and fewer resources are used.

Finally, there’s also the key benefit of being able to routinely reuse the containers that the liners are stored in. As the liners provide the necessary barrier between the container and the product, there’s no need to clean it. This helps reduce wastewater creation and environmental pollution. It can also help reduce maintenance and cleaning costs.
