Job Summary: The Supply Chain Manager will lead end-to-end supply chain operations for CDF’s Flexible Packaging, Drum, and Pail Divisions, covering planning, procurement, inventory management, shop floor scheduling, and shipping and receiving. This role focuses on continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing inventory turnover, reducing costs, and strengthening supplier relationships. The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for implementing standardized processes, leveraging technology for efficiency, and ensuring seamless communication across all supply chain functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a stable, responsive supply base through disciplined processes and clear supplier expectations.
- Oversee material purchasing, planning, and scheduling to support smooth operations.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate long-term agreements to secure favorable pricing and services.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance turnover and material availability.
- Direct and support the shipping and receiving teams to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment.
- Standardize processes and enhance systems to improve efficiency and data visibility.
- Monitor and develop capacity planning tools to balance workloads effectively.
- Establish and track KPIs for purchasing, inventory management, on-time delivery, and logistics performance.
- Collaborate across departments to align supply chain activities with broader company goals.
- Ensure clear communication with stakeholders regarding priorities and performance.
