Position Summary:
The Material Handler supports manufacturing operations by ensuring timely and safe transportation, storage, and staging of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production line flow, and upholding safety and quality standards throughout the facility.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Material Handling & Inventory Support:
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials across departments efficiently and safely.
- Supply production lines with required materials to ensure continuous manufacturing operations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with company safety guidelines.
- Support regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
- Report inventory discrepancies and material quality concerns to appropriate personnel.
Receiving & Shipping Assistance:
- Assist with the loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Collaborate with warehouse and shipping teams to ensure accurate staging and movement of materials.
- Monitor the condition of materials and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
Facility Maintenance & Compliance:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, including staging and storage areas.
- Follow all established safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company policies.
- Participate in GMP audits and support compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Team Support & Communication:
- Communicate effectively with team members, shift leaders, and other departments to ensure efficient material flow.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing workflow and inventory management.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team and facility operations.
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory systems a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, and reach with arms. The role occasionally requires lifting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity is required for activities such as reading inventory labels and operating equipment.
Work Environment
Work environment noise levels may vary from quiet to very loud. Employees must be able to work safely in and around powered industrial equipment and manufacturing machinery.
Flexible Working Schedule and built in overtime!!!
Schedule: Monday through Thursday 6 AM – 6 PM
