55 Gallon Anti-Static Drum Liner

Dealing with static in your packaging? Static buildup can change how a package behaves and even pose a fire hazard if discharged. Instead of adding equipment to remove static, consider using packaging that resists it—like CDF’s 55-gallon anti-static drum liner.

Overview

Drum liners are designed to fit snugly into drums. CDF’s 55-gallon liner is vacuum-formed with a contoured lip, ideal for high-speed mixing, pumping, and storing. These liners are made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE), combining tensile strength and elongation, making them resistant to both tears and cracking. Its anti-static properties are an additional benefit, ensuring safety and compliance with stringent military and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.

Why Use Anti-Static Bags?

There are many reasons to use anti-static bags, both from a performance and safety standpoint. From a performance standpoint, a lack of static will mean the liner performs the way that it’s intended to perform. It’s easy to insert the liner into the drum, and no product will be trapped under any folds or irregularities in the liner. It also enables drums to be more easily cleaned and reused, which can reduce maintenance costs.

From a safety standpoint, these liners are ideal for operating with flammable or dangerous materials, as the presence of static could create a fire hazard. The use of anti-static bags ensures that safety and efficiency are maintained throughout the packaging process.

Benefits of Anti-Static Packaging

Beyond the benefits of using anti-static packaging already noted, several other value-added benefits are worth mentioning. Anti-static packaging guards against moisture and dust buildup, which could create problems with the packaging. Preventing moisture buildup can also help safeguard your packaging line and products from mold and mildew growth. Additionally, anti-static packaging promotes cleanliness and overall sanitation, helps with quality control, and preserves or enhances your firm’s reputation. As a risk management tool, it enhances safety throughout the packaging process and lifecycle.
