Job Title: Accounting Clerk


Position summary:   General accounting office tasks


Qualifications required:

  • General computer skills

  • Ability to work well with others and be a team player

  • Good communication and organizational skills


Qualifications desired:

  • Trained user of MS-Windows, MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-Outlook

  • Experience with ERP software use.


Essential functions and responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility for Greeting Visitors in Lobby and handling their requests as needed.

  • Check, Code, and Input Primex/Impact invoices and credits.  Solve Primex/Impact receiving, pricing and PO problems with Plant and Purchasing staff as needed.

  • (Tues, Wed, Fri) Invoicing:  Review shipping papers from warehouse, match with orders, confirm in computer, print invoices, mail or EDI invoices as required .Will alternate months on EOM procedures with Credit Clerk.

  • Credit Card Machine processing each morning.

  • Freight Bills: Invoice Customers or code as Delivered Freight.  Code and Post to A/P system.  Research problems as needed.

  • Accounts Payable Input – primary person for A/P input of invoices coded by A/P clerk.

  • Office Supplies – Responsible for ordering, stocking and maintaining inventory of office supplies.  (Note - All orders must be approved by Controller.)

  • Credit Reference Set-up – Receives Credit Reference info from A/R clerk, processes for references and gives completed folder to Controller for approval process.

  • Responsible for W-9 forms, originating and filing upon return.

  • Assist A/P clerk on Check Run weekly. 

  • Assist in coverage of telephones

  • Scanning of A/P and other materials as needed.  Shredding materials as needed.

  • Cross-trained to back up the A/P clerk with A/P functions, and the A/R clerk with Credit A/R functions.  Cross-trained to cover for others days off as needed.

  • Assist in preparation of Cash Deposits and perform Cash Deposits if Credit Clerk is out.

  • Compile monthly commission payment invoices to non-employee CDF sales reps.

  • Update Certificate of Insurance records.  (Book or electronic record)

  • Must follow all company policies and procedures


Non-essential skills and experience:

  • Performs other office related tasks as needed by Controller

Physical demands:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear.  Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


Work environment:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.  The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.

Job Title:  Business Analyst


Position summary: The Business Analyst will analyze business processes and configure and modify the IFS ERP system for a related group of companies.  Responsibilities include assessing needs and formulating solutions through the use of IFS and other applications, initiating and leading projects and providing day to day support of the IFS Software.



Essential functions and responsibilities:

  • Gather Business requirements, design , develop and modify IFS financial and operational reports and programs for all businesses

  • Work with business teams and the IT Manager to gather requirements, prepare, prioritize and deliver reports for all functional areas and business units across the organization.

  • Partner with various business units in the organization to facilitate implementation of new or improved business and reporting processes

  • Partner with end users to define business system requirements and system goals and identify and resolve business system issues

  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems

  • Provide training and orientation to end users

  • Provide direct first level support to end users as needed

  • Work with IFS consultants as needed to trouble shoot issues

  • Work with Radley Corporation to troubleshoot bar coding/data collection

  • Document procedures using the internal IFS documentation system and align the internal help systems to our procedures

  • Must follow all company policies and procedures


Qualifications required:

  • 5 years of direct  IFS Distribution/Manufacturing experience in diverse environments a plus

  • Ability to use Crystal reports to replace IFS Operational reporting

  • Experience with Crystal reports for Ad-Hoc reporting a plus

  • Ability to use PL/Sql developer to identify needed views and  troubleshoot issues

  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to respond quickly under pressure when problems arise with any system or application

  • Outstanding knowledge of end-user processes that are to be supported

  • Experience with the IFS Financial/HR/Quality or other IFS modules

  • Advanced distribution knowledge involving warehousing or shipping

  • Experience with the Radley bar coding/data collection system
