Job Openings for Cheer Pack North America
Cheer Pack North America (CPNA) is a partnership established in 2008 to develop and support spouted pouch technology in North America. The partnership consists of Hosokawa Yoko (Japan), Gualapack (Italy) and CDF Corporation (US). CPNA is located at the CDF manufacturing facility in Plymouth, MA
JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: Responsible for general machine and company maintenance.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Routine machine and equipment maintenance and repair
- Product changeovers as needed
- General building maintenance
- Preventive maintenance
- Work on Continuous improvement projects as needed
- Notify lead of needed extended repairs and or spare parts
- Completion of all pertinent maintenance paperwork
- Be part of Corrective Action teams
- Help out production team as needed
- Quality auditing and understanding
- Ability to perform quality testing as needed
- Other duties as required
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- General maintenance skills
- Knowledge of PLC’s a plus
- Knowledge of setting up Camera’s a plus
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Electrical background a plus
- Knowledge of heat sealing process a plus
- Proactive
- Good attitude: ability to work well with others and be a team player
- Good communication skills
JOB TITLE: Cheer Pack Straw Sealing Inspector / Operator
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: Produce and package quality parts off straw sealing equipment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Responsible for line quality on straw sealers
- Produce product according to work-order traveler specifications
- Package product according to specifications
- Start and stop equipment
- Label boxes according to specifications
- Responsible for production output of straw sealing lines
- Participates in continuous improvement activities as requested
- Other duties as required

- Good attitude and willingness to be part of a team
- Ability to work well with others
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Focus on Quality as well as production

7AM to 7PM
7PM to 7AM
24/7 Manufacturing / Alternating days
